Only a few days left until The Big Give 2019! Today we hear from a parent of one of our students on the impact Open TRAIL Ranch has had on their child’s life! “We as a family have been very blessed by Open TRAIL Ranch. Lorena is the happiest child when she doing her horse therapy. She has been riding the horses for over 2 years and it has been a big help in her gross motor skills. It has helped her with walking, strengthening her muscles, helping with her posture and giving her the great joy of being on her own when she is riding her horse. We are thankful for Kate, the volunteers and her instructors/therapists. They are having a big impact on our daughter’s health. Today we mourn the loss of our sweet gentle giant Klyde. He fought so hard over this last year and crossed the rainbow bridge around lunch time today surrounded by love. We may not know why his journey had to end so suddenly but we are so grateful for the past years we had with him as he blessed everyone he met. We will continue to remember his impact that he had for everyone at our center as we cherish the wonderful memories he leaves behind. May he run free of pain and limitations next to our other equine angels in green pastures and sun filled skies. 💛 We love you Klyde forever and always💛

Although we are a bit late in our #transformationtuesday post for yesterday, we are so thankful to Mike Spell for the time spent in putting up 2 beautiful windows and a sliding isle door to our mini barn! We have been without a door or windows to block the wind from our minis stalls for quite sometime, using feedbags to cover the windows and a piece of plywood to cover the door opening in cold weather. To say we (and the minis) are so happy to have these repairs to our building is an understatement! Thank you Mike for all your labor and love put into this repair project! #opentrailranch #minibarn #weloveourcommunity #weloveourvolunteers
